To the Mateers
October 2023 Paint on Canvas 20" x 20" I made this art piece to be a thank you for an award I was given over the summer by one of the major Clarke County 4-H families. They have been a part of 4-H for well over thirty years. I believe they will be as thankful for this artwork as I was for that award. This artwork is the best way that I could think of to say thank you for that marvelous award that normally goes to a senior member of 4-H. The colors of this piece is to represent 1st place in ribbons or banners. My mineral feeder picture is to represent the static part for this painting. It is also to show appreciation for them because they are a cattle family.

Leaves of Love
November 2023 Mixed Media Painting on Canvas 36" x 20" This piece of artwork is to help people view my dogs and where they may be placed within our household. The dogs each have their place within the house and their areas on the canvas. The dogs are each loved, but for different reasons, and not by everyone in the household either.
Each of the dogs has their own personalities as well and that is reflected in the pictures that I used for each of them. Denahi is the wild child of the dogs that we own. Magnus is the “youngest” and very demanding. Nita is the hyper one and has middle-child syndrome, so she does her own thing which is jumping off of everything. The other dogs are pretty chill. Kenai is the antisocial one out of them all. These are how each of the dogs is placed in my mom’s way. |
Polluted Ocean
December 2023 Mixed Media Painting on Canvas 36" x 36" This piece was created to help people realize what we are doing to the ocean. All of the plastic that we use daily, turned the place that each of us cares for into a dump. The sea will not look beautiful anymore with time, it could take 3 years, and it could take more. The ocean is what makes our planet what it looks like. The reason we see the green grass, could not be done without it.
